The exhibition includes rare, priceless, and never-before-displayed in public, artifacts of sculptures, paintings, goldsmith work, illuminated manuscripts, liturgical vestments, archival documents, armors, pharmacy jars, and more.

Early Works from the Terra Sancta Museum on display in Portugal

Many of the objects are gifts donated in the 16th and 17th centuries by royalty of various kingdoms in Europe, republics in the Italian peninsula, and the Papal States.

Treasures of the Holy Sepulchre

This exhibition marks the first time these treasures, gifted by European Catholic monarchs over 500 years, have traveled outside of Jerusalem. Once it returns to Jerusalem, it will be displayed permanently at the new Terra Sancta Museum.
